Summit House in the summer, unit 304 is the corner unit on the right, the one with the shades up (windows appear dark ). There's elevator access on the left side of the building from the lobby, or two flights of stairs on the right side which open right at unit 304. A creek runs alongside the building on the right; a pleasant summer sound with the unit's windows open. Parking is covered, at ground level.

Summit House was built in 1972; one of the first residences built at Copper Mountain Resort. The ceilings, floors and exterior walls of each unit are solid slabs of concrete and offer far quieter living than wood frame construction in newer buildings. Pictured here is the iving area, with extensive use of wood trim throughout the unit, solid wood 6-panel doors in matching stain color, gas fireplace with slate hearth. Sleeper sofa. Small exterior patio at the door behind the fireplace.

Dining area with French doors open to the bedroom's sitting area; the entire wall of west-facing windows provides a very bright and attractive setting in the afternoons. The view is towards the Center Village and there's a glimpse of chairs going up the American Eagle lift. All the furniture is new and very solid metal and wood construction, with matching dining table, dining chairs, sofa table, night tables, and dresser.

The king bed has top quality double pillow top Stearns & Foster matresses. The door to the left of the dresser opens to a large walk-in closet with slate floors. Above the dresser are wall-mounted Bose audio speakers; the subwoofer is under the bed.

Very special Japanese-style bath with huge Kohler 60 gallon cast-iron tub for long hot soaks after skiing in privacy and luxury! Never a shortage of hot water with the central hot water system. Bamboo walls and ceiling. Marble tile backsplashes and marble floor imported from Jerusalem. Overhead shower. Directly across from Unit 304 is a dry sauna and guest shower, shared by all units, but which get very little use.

Bath lavatory with bamboo walls, wood trim, granite counters, new fixtures. The wall sconces match the chandelier in the dining area and the wall sconce in the master bedroom.
